December 5th - Parent Council invites you to our next Parent Education Series on Tuesday, December 5th for a conversation on "Curfews and Parties: What we need to know and how we can support each other and our high schoolers in managing the teenage social scene." We'll be joined by two high school counselors to discuss what the laws are regarding curfews and to lead us through this important discussion.


January 10th - Who are the Millenials and why aren't they acting the way we did? The Millenials were born between 1982 and today are the largest generation since the Baby Boomers. Come to hear a presentation on how their values, behaviors and choices differ from the Gen Xers (1964-1981) and the Baby Boomers (1946-1963). We guarantee you'll learn a great deal about your teens and yourself!

February 8th - Teen Time Management Skills. Are you racing around trying to fit in a million things, and helping your kids do the same thing? We all have the same 24 hour period of time, learn how to manage yourself within that finite amount and sanely accomplish the most important. Then share your new tools with your kids. Our presenter will be Liz Coleman, SEHS parent, who manages the Lane Community College Tutoring Center and teaches Lane College Success classes, as well.
